At Eden Pines Petersburg, we specialize in caring for residents with dementias such as Alzheimers and related conditions. Features unique to Eden Pines include small, neighborhood style units with secured wandering paths for residents. Each "neighborhood" features its own living room, dining room and fenced outdoor courtyard.
Also, since security is vitally important to the safety of Eden Pines residents and the comfort of their families, our facilities feature andelectronic security system which limits the residents to their own neighborhoods. Other features include the use of color to help residents stay oriented. Chair seats are a different color from the floor, helping residents find their seats and prevent falls. Color and special wall and door decorations are used to help residents locate their rooms and furniture is selected to minimize falls and injury.
